Val Kilmer, the American actor, has formed a partnership with Galaxis to release the project dubbed ‘Kamp Kilmer’ – its debut NFT collection. While Kilmer is most recognized for his epic appearances in comedy movies, he has also succeeded in several creative mediums like music, painting, and poetry.
Sadly, six years ago, Kilmer was diagnosed with throat cancer which halted his creations. Now, the man is back on the scene to share his experience and legacy with the world, and what better way to do it if not via NFTs.
Connecting Communities and Artists
Kamp Kilmer’s latest project will offer a virtual space for eclectics and artists to come together, collaborate, and share ideas on music, art, and movies. These collaborations and shared ideas are said to be innovative and exciting with artists using available tech without the limitation of time and space.
Presently, fans can earn a unique free NFT from Kilmer which will give access to upcoming utility and presale. The presale is said to come up in April 2022 with the NFT collection tagged ‘GOD PANELS’. Artists and creators can also sign to work with Kilmer on the project by completing an application form on the website.
GOD Panels NFT Collection
The design of the GOD PANELS NFT collection is said to use elements of qualification and innovative collaboration to create a living and ever-evolving work of art. The project’s first phase dubbed the ‘Genesis Phase’ was created by Kilmer himself and founded the first God Panel artwork.
The original artwork divides God’s name into a number of panels and this has come to be one of its famous pieces. The art brings to the audience the abstract word and evaluates one’s personal relationship with the word.
The second phase is tagged the ‘Expansion Phase’ which will commence immediately when all the pieces of art that make up the Genesis Phase are sold out. Artist collaborators are going to be partnering up during the Expansion Phase to work on a Genesis Piece. They will have the freedom and flexibility to create an offshore version of the Genesis Piece in a unique and new style. Collaborators will also earn a specific percentage of the total revenue earned from the sale of the pieces.
The Galaxis Platform
The upcoming NFT project will be the first from Kilmer to utilize the Galaxies Art Engine. This is a creative and current type of NFT that enables artists to partner with their communities while constantly creating evolving artworks. Galaxies, which was previously known as Ether Cards, was founded and established by Ben Ong and Andras Kritof.
The platform was inaugurated in 2021, but Ben and Andras immediately identified the interactive, dynamic, and utility characteristics of the platform. This they concluded will be an excellent feature for the latest NFT projects. Hence, the rebrand.
Ether Cards rebranded to Galaxis on this premise and has now become an innovative engagement platform.
