NFT market continues to grow with the first digital home offered and sold as a non-fungible token by an artist and founder of the Techism movement Krista Kim for 288ETH, little more than $500.000.

In an interview with CNBC’s “Squawk Alley” Kim clarified that her artwork dubbed “Mars House” is a part of her grand vision for the role of augmented reality in the World.

“Right now, there’s a very small parameter of how you can show the art with a lot of the NFT art that’s currently available on platforms, The creation — called Mars House — is part of Kim’s grand vision for the role augmented reality will play in the world, she explained in an interview on CNBC’s “Squawk Alley”.

“Right now, a lot of the NFT art that’s currently available on platforms, it’s a very limited parameter of how you can present the art, it’s presented, basically, as a digital file, a beautiful drawing or video on your screen, but my intention was to look beyond that”.

Kim said 17th of March.

The artwork was sold on the SuperRare marketplace and as Kim said the new owner will be able to actually “feel” and “live” his “Marshouse” as the file of the NFT can be easily uploaded to an alternative digital 3D reality called “Metaverse” or “Mirror world”. Kim sees augmented reality as a “real lifestyle” in the near future.

At the time of writing this article, there is a great number of teams working on AR gear including Microsoft working on “HoloLens“, Facebook on “Oculus” and there is a rumor that Apple is working on AR as well.

“Mirror world” will bring changes to many industries like Entertainment, Shopping, and Sports.

One thing is for sure it’s already making changes in the NFT world and we are impatiently waiting for Kim’s new projects.
