The new season is upon us. The Sandbox plans to launch a collection of unique Snoop Dogg NFT avatars that will be played in the game. The fans have been thrilled with The Sandbox Alpha release and the funky music from the Snoop Dogg concert. Now, season II is right here for fans to explore the metaverse.
Minting starts on 2/22/22 at 10 PM UTC.
Minting can be accessed via sandbox.game/en/snoopdogg/ and will cost 150 SAND (plus gas fees).
Mint a Doggie for Season II
On February 22, 2022, before the start of the Alpha Season II, The Sandbox, one of the most popular blockchain-based metaverse game experiences, will release 10,000 Snoop Dogg avatar NFTs. The 10,000 Snoop Dogg avatars are voxelated NFTs with over 150 features that were generated procedurally. In the game’s second season, each unique Doggie avatar can be used to attend events and concerts, do tasks, hang out with friends, and travel the metaverse like a celebrity. Imagine attending a Snoop Dogg performance dressed as a groovy Doggie avatar or participating in a music video shot exclusively within The Sandbox!
Human, Alien, Zombie, Dogg, Blue Robot, and Golden are the seven rarity tiers for the 10,000 Snoop Dogg avatar NFTs. Two-thirds of the Doggies will be common, and there will be three Doggies with distinct traits and attributes that will set them apart from the pack.
The “dope avatars” are a collection of dope, fresh, and funky Doggies created by Snoop Dogg and his team at The Sandbox. Each one is distinct and one-of-a-kind.
The “classic avatars” are a group of Doggies based on Snoop Dogg’s past. You can instantly recognize some of Snoop’s biggest tracks over the years. One of them is Snoop’s 2007 anthem’s silky exquisite look, with sensuous seduction and an enticing soulful throwback to the 80’s vibe.
The “signature edition” is a collection of Doggies that has never been played with before. The signature Doggies, created in collaboration with some of the metaverse’s best artists, appear to be Snoop’s return from an interstellar and multi-dimensional journey.
How to Mint a Doggie Avatar
As stated earlier, the Snoop Dogg avatar collection will be available for mint on the never to be seen again date – the palindrome and ambigram date that reads the same from left to right and vice versa.
