The future is here. Artists, celebrities, investors, crypto-lovers, and actors have boarded on the NFT ship and now the food industry is joining them with Taco Bell being the first restaurant to do it.

Their collection consisted of 5 different pieces of digital art, GIFs, and images (with 4 out of 5 being GIFs) priced 1$ each, all in limited numbers on the Rarible marketplace. Do we have to mention that all of their tokens were Taco-themed? Each of the five tokens demonstrates that each version is numbered and what number it is, for example, Token demonstrates that it is number 1 of 5 or 2 of 5 or 3 of 5 and so on.

They managed to sell 25 tokens in under 30 minutes.

Taco Bell also told The Verge that the NFTs included a real-world perk in the form of a $500 electronic Taco Bell gift card reserved for the original NFT owner, of course. It seems that Taco Bell is here to stimulate the art, youngsters, and importance of education, and not for the profits as they listed on Rarible: “100% of the profits earned from this sale will be donated to Taco Bell Foundation, Inc. to empower youth to discover and pursue their career and educational pathways.”

Taco Bell said that there are possibilities of launching NFTs again and we really hope they will be as good as their Tacos are tasty.
